Prepare for the right legal review
Your product, destination market and business model determine the review needed. Get project-specific advice before committing to claims, labels or sales.
Your brand. Our science.
Resolve responsibilities before launch
- 01
Identify the product and destination
Give qualified advisers the exact product identity, proposed format, destination markets and sales model. Ask which restrictions, permissions or licenses may apply. This page cannot determine whether your project is lawful or which requirements apply.
- 02
Review labels and claims
Have the appropriate reviewer assess product information, label wording, marketing claims and any required warnings or disclosures. A supplier label, digital mockup or AI-generated plan is not legal or regulatory clearance.
- 03
Verify documents and their scope
Ask what evidence is relevant to the agreed product and market. Verify the scope of any registration or certification being relied on. A certificate of analysis reports specified test results; it is not a blanket authorization for sale.
- 04
Review the agreement
Clarify specifications, acceptance, ownership of artwork and tooling, confidentiality, any exclusivity, change control and issue resolution. Ask your adviser to review the written terms and identify who owns each compliance responsibility.
General preparation only, not legal, regulatory or technical advice. These are review topics, not a complete list of legal obligations. Consult qualified advisers for your specific project.
